How to manage design settings in Collection application

A step-by-step guide to managing all the design settings options in the Grafterr Collection application

Updated over a month ago

The design settings in the Grafterr Collection application allow you to customize how orders are visually presented on the screen. These options are especially useful for improving staff efficiency and enhancing visibility based on how the collection screen is positioned in your outlet.

Managing design layouts:

Note that design layout options are available only in staff display mode. To access these settings, you must first switch the display mode from Collection to Staff under the general settings section.

  • Once staff mode is enabled, the layout options become visible. You will see two layout options:

    • Card layout

    • List layout

  • By default, the Collection application uses the card layout, where orders are displayed as cards showing only the order number or token number. This layout is clean, minimal, and ideal for customer-facing screens.

  • Alternatively, you can switch to the list layout, which is more suitable for staff operations. In this layout, orders are displayed in a detailed list format, making it easier for staff to quickly scan, manage, and interact with multiple orders.

Customizing order status titles and colors:

The design settings also allow you to customize the titles and colors used for different order statuses. You can:

  • Rename the Cooking and Ready to Collect titles

  • Change the color codes associated with each status

These customizations help improve clarity and visibility, especially in busy environments or when screens are viewed from a distance.

Once you’ve made your changes, click on “Save” to apply them immediately. If at any point you’re not satisfied with the selected colors or titles, you can revert everything back to the original configuration by clicking “Set to default”.

That’s it! You have successfully learned how to manage all the design settings in the Grafterr Collection application. If you face any issues along the way, feel free to reach out to our support team.
