The Grafterr Collection application provides a set of general settings that help you control how orders are displayed, how staff interact with them, and how customers view order information.
Managing display mode in general settings:
The Collection application supports two display modes: Collection mode and Staff mode.
Collection mode is a non-responsive display mode, specifically designed for screens that face customers. In this mode, the screen cannot be interacted with, ensuring that orders are not accidentally opened, modified, or marked by customers if the screen is touched unintentionally.
Staff mode, on the other hand, is a fully responsive mode. This allows staff members to tap on orders, view complete order details, and update order statuses - for example, moving an order from Cooking to Ready to Collect. The detailed usage of staff mode and its related design settings will be covered in a separate guide.
You can easily tap to switch between collection and staff mode based on your operational requirement at any given time.
Managing advertisement settings:
Advertisements are used to display promotional content, offers, or announcements to customers, helping businesses increase visibility and upsell effectively. Advertisements are created and managed from the Grafterr Admin Panel through Advert management module, which will be explained in the dedicated guide.
Once an advert is added from the admin panel, you can toggle the advertisement option ON in the Collection application and refresh the screen to apply the changes. After enabling, the Collection screen will be divided into three sections:
Cooking orders
Ready to collect orders
Advertisement display
Managing incoming orders:
The Collection application also allows you to control which orders appear on the display. Under the incoming orders section, you will find multiple order sources such as - POS orders, online orders, third-party orders and self-kiosk orders.
You can restrict specific order sources by unchecking them if you do not want those orders to appear on the Collection screen.
If you want all orders from every platform to be displayed, simply enable the “All” option, and orders from all channels will flow into the Collection application.
Laslty, at the bottom-left corner of the settings screen, you can view the current software version of the Collection application.
If a new update is available, you will see an option to “Click here”, which redirects you to the Google play store, allowing you to update the application and access the latest features and improvements.
