Note that the Collection application works with three order status stages:
Cooking
Ready to collect
Collected
The Cooking and Ready to collect headings are visible on the screen and can be customised from the settings if required. And once an order is marked as Collected, it automatically disappears from the collection screen to keep the display clean and focused.
Understanding the order screen (Collection application):
Once you log in to the Grafterr Collection application, the order screen may initially appear blank. This is completely normal. As soon as orders are processed, they will start appearing on the screen.
The order screen is visually divided into two main sections, clearly separated using colour-coded headings:
Cooking - Orders that are currently being prepared
Ready to collect - Orders that are prepared and ready for customer pickup
Each order is identified using an order number or token number:
POS orders usually appear as numeric tokens such as 12, 13, 14
Online orders typically appear as alphanumeric tokens like W001, W002, and so on.
You can tap on any order to view its complete details. From there, you can also update the order status, if needed. But note the screen is non-responsive in collection display mode. It becomes interactive only when switched to staff display mode.
On the top-left section, you can find the business logo, business name and current display mode indicator (Collection or Staff)
On the top-right section, you can find the refresh button to refresh and reload the screen and settings icon to manage display modes, incoming orders etc.
That’s it! You have successfully understood the collection application order screen and all set to dive into the settings. If you face any issues along the way, feel free to reach out to our support team.
