How to manage table layout settings

A step-by-step guide to managing table layout settings within the Grafterr Operator application

Updated over a month ago

The table layout settings are designed specifically for the eat-in service type, giving flexibility in how tables are displayed and managed while ordering. There are two types of table layouts available - default and custom.

  • The default layout is a simple option where no visual representation of the restaurant’s table setup is shown. Instead, you only see table numbers, and customers or staff can select from the list directly.

  • On the other hand, the custom layout provides a more realistic approach, showing a visual representation of the restaurant’s actual table arrangement, making it easier for customers to select tables, in a way that reflects the physical setup.

To learn how to create and design these table layouts from the back office, please refer to our table management guides from Admin Panel, where the process of setting up layouts is explained in detail. And once a table layout has been created in the back office, you can choose which type of layout to use in the Operator application while ordering.
