Service types refer to the different ways customers can place or receive their orders. Currently, there are five main service types - Eat In, Takeaway, Collection, Delivery and Drive thru. Each service type supports a specific ordering method. Through the service types settings, you can enable or disable any service and choose a default option to ensure a smooth ordering experience.
Managing your service types in Grafterr POS:
In order to manage your service types in Grafterr POS, follow the steps below:
Open the Grafterr POS application and log in with your credentials. Once you are logged in, you will land on the home page of the application. Scroll down to locate the “App settings” module and click on “POS settings” under it.
***Please note that the POS settings available here apply only to the current POS device you are using and will not affect other devices linked to your account. If you want the same configuration across multiple devices, you will need to update the POS settings individually on each device.
Within the POS settings section, scroll down to find “Services to show on this device”. Open this section to view the complete list of service types available for your business.
You can enable or disable service types based on your operational needs. Only the service types that are enabled here will be visible to staff while placing orders on this device.
Using the toggle buttons, you can also set one service type as the default for this POS device. When a default service is selected, all new orders will automatically be processed under that service type unless the staff member manually changes it during order placement.
Please note that only one service type can be set as the default at a time.
