The security lock in Grafterr POS helps protect your account and business data by automatically locking the application after a period of inactivity. This ensures that unauthorized users cannot access the POS when the device is left unattended.
By enabling the security lock, the application goes into sleep mode after a pre-defined time and requires authentication to regain access, adding an extra layer of safety to your day-to-day operations.
Also note that the security lock setup option is initially shown at the start of the application, right after selecting the country during login or account creation. However, this setting can also be managed later at any time from within the application.
Managing your security lock:
In order to manage your security lock in Grafterr POS, follow the below steps:
Open the Grafterr POS application and log in with your credentials. Once you are logged in, you will land on the home page of the application.
Scroll down to locate the “Others” module. Under this section, click on “Help”. Inside this section, tap on “Security lock.” From here, you can easily enable or disable the security lock based on your preference.
When the security lock is enabled, the Grafterr POS application will automatically lock itself after the pre-selected duration of inactivity, helping safeguard your account and sensitive business information.
