A menu is a structured list of food items which are grouped into categories along with their prices and information. It allows businesses to organise what they sell and control when specific menus are available - for example, a lunch menu, drinks menu, or seasonal specials.
Adding a menu type through the Grafterr POS application:
In order to add a menu type through the Grafterr POS application, follow the steps below:
Open the Grafterr POS application and log in with your credentials. Once you are logged in, you will land on the home page of the application.
Scroll down to locate the module called “Menu management”. Under this module, click on “Add/Edit menu”. Here, you will see a list of all your existing menus, along with their categories, items, and prices.
To create a new menu, tap on the “+ Menu” button located at the top-right corner of the screen. After clicking on ‘+ Menu’, tap on “Advance settings”.
Enter the menu name (e.g., Food menu, Weekend specials, etc).
Choose if that menu should be available on all days, or only on specific days (from a particular start date to an end date, and from specific start time to end time).
***Note that the same availability settings applied at the menu level will also reflect on its categories and items.
Next, you will find the tax settings section. Tap on it, enable the applicable tax option, and click on submit to save your selection.

Once you have entered the details and configured availability, click on “Submit”, and then “Done” to save. The newly created menu will now appear in your list of menus on the screen.
And if you ever need to make changes to an existing menu, you can simply click on the “Edit” icon on the menu name to update any details.
