Note that these options apply exclusively to the eat-in service type where customers dine inside the restaurant.
Changing Guest Count - When a table is first occupied, guest count, name, phone number, and other details are noted. If the number of guests changes later (e.g., two guests seated and a third joins in), the restaurant must update this count so the system reflects the correct seating capacity.
Changing Tables - Sometimes, guests may move to a different table due to preference or availability. If this change is not registered in the system, servers may deliver items to the wrong table. Updating the table number in the application avoids this confusion.
Transferring Items - In some cases, additional guests might arrive and sit at a different table, but their order was placed under the first table. Instead of re-ordering, you can transfer items from one table to another through this option.
