How to navigate the operator login screen

A step-by-step guide to navigating the Operator login screen within the Grafterr Operator application

Updated over a month ago

Note that, in order to login as an operator within the operator application, you must first create users through the Grafterr Admin Panel under the “Users (Permissions)” module. In case you have already created users, go ahead with the operator login screen.

Logging in as an Operator:

In order to login as an operator in the Grafterr Operator application, follow the steps below:

  • Once users are created and permissions are assigned through the Admin Panel, they will appear on the operator login screen. Select the “Operator name” you want to log in with. Then enter the “Passcode” assigned to that operator. Lastly, tap on “Login”.

  • Once operator login is successful, you will see a pop-up asking for the “Float Amount”. The float amount is the cash amount the operator is starting their shift with.

  • To verify this, the operator can use the ”Open Drawer” option (bottom left of the screen) to open the cash drawer and check the cash.

  • After confirming, enter the float amount and click on ”Submit”. You should be now logged in and ready to use the application.

Exploring other options on operator login screen:

  • Refresh button:

    • In case you have created a user but it’s not visible, simply click on the “Refresh” button at the top right of the screen.

  • Clock in/out button:

    • If you have any staff who are not operators (e.g., waiters or kitchen staff) but need to record their working hours, they can use the “Clock In/Out” option on the bottom right to record their shifts.

  • Day end button:

    • Lastly you can also perform “Day End” operation from the login screen if needed.

That’s it! You have learned how to navigate through the operator login screen and have also explored other options like refresh, clock in/ out etc. If you face any issues along the way, feel free to reach out to our support team.
