Online service area DNB (Do Not Book) restrictions allow businesses to block specific serving areas or tables from being reserved online during selected time periods. This helps restaurants manage unavailable sections, maintenance schedules, private events, or seating limitations more effectively while ensuring better table allocation and smoother operations.
Managing online service area DNB restrictions:
In order to set up and manage online service area DNB restrictions through the Grafterr Admin Panel, follow the steps below:
Start by logging in to your Grafterr Admin Panel through the Grafterr website using your credentials. Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand menu, scroll down to the “Table Management” section, and click on “Reservation settings.”
Within this section, scroll down to “Online table reservation settings” and select “Service area DNB restrictions.”
Once you enter the DNB settings page, begin by selecting the service area that you want to restrict from online bookings. Use the dropdown menu to choose the required serving area.
Next, choose whether you want to apply the restriction to all tables within that serving area or only to specific tables. If you want to restrict selected tables only, use the Table ID dropdown to choose the individual tables.
After selecting the tables, define the restriction period by entering the start date and start time, followed by the end date and end time.
Once all the details are configured, click on “Add DNB.” The selected service area or tables will now be restricted from online reservations during the specified period.
All configured DNB restrictions will appear in the "Saved DNB" section, where you can view the service area, table details, and applied timings. You also have the option to edit or delete the restrictions later whenever required.
That’s it! You have successfully learned how to manage online service area DNB restrictions through the Grafterr Admin Panel. If you face any issues along the way, feel free to reach out to our support team.
