A step-by-step guide to managing all your receipt templates through Grafterr Admin Panel


Receipt template settings allow you to control how different types of receipts are printed and presented across your operations.

  • In Grafterr, there are four types of receipt templates: Customer Receipt, Kitchen Receipt, Waiter Receipt, and Label Receipt.

  • Each template serves a specific purpose - customer receipts for billing, kitchen receipts for order preparation, waiter receipts for service staff, and label receipts for packaging or item tagging.

Customizing these templates ensures that the right information is displayed in the right format for each use case.

Managing your receipt templates:

In order to manage all your receipt templates through the Grafterr Admin Panel, follow the steps below:

  1. Start by logging in to your Grafterr Admin Panel through the Grafterr website. Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand menu, scroll down to “Advanced Settings,” and click on “Receipt templates.”

  2. This will open a list of all available receipt templates, including customer, kitchen, waiter, and label templates.

  3. By default, a standard template is available for each type. However, if you want to create a new one, scroll down and click on “Create a new template.” Then select the type of receipt template you want to create.

  4. Once selected, you can customize the template based on your requirements. You can also assign a custom name to your new template (note that default templates cannot be renamed).

  5. Each template allows you to configure multiple sections, including:

    • Template name and font settings

    • Header details

    • Order details

    • Customer and payment information

    • Footer and additional notes

  6. The customization process is simple and intuitive, as most options involve toggling settings ON or OFF, adjusting text, or modifying font styles and sizes.

  7. After making the required changes, make sure to preview the template to verify how it will appear when printed. Once satisfied, click on "Save."

Finally, refresh the respective application to ensure that the updated template is applied and visible on actual receipts.

With receipt templates, you have complete flexibility to design how your receipts look and what information they display, ensuring clarity for both your staff and customers.
