Onboarding with Grafterr POS is super easy and takes only a few minutes to complete. Each step includes a detailed explanation to help you understand the onboarding process. Follow all the onboarding steps carefully to ensure a smooth experience with Grafterr POS.
Onboarding with Grafterr POS:
In order to complete all the onboarding steps in Grafterr POS, follow the steps below:
Once the sign up is completed, you will be redirected to the onboarding page, where all the essential setup steps have to be completed before you start using Grafterr POS. You will also notice a progress tracker that shows how much of the onboarding process has been completed.
The first step in onboarding is setting up the "Admin user". The admin account has full access to the system, including staff management, permissions, reports, refunds, and application settings.
Click on “Set up now” to create the admin user by entering the name and a passcode (between 2 to 6 digits), then tap “Submit”. Once created, the admin account is ready.
You can also add additional employees if required by clicking on "Add a new employee" at the bottom of the screen. While adding staff members, you need to specify their designation and assign permissions based on their role and click on "Submit".
You also have the option to download the staff list as a PDF using the “Download PDF” option available at the top left of the screen. Finally, once all the required staff are added, click on “Finish setup”.
Please note that once you complete the first setup step and create an admin user, you’ll have the option to skip the remaining steps and proceed directly to the application. However, we recommend completing all steps to ensure a smooth transition.
Next, move on to "Tax settings". Click on “Set up now”, then select “Add a new tax setting”. If your business is not VAT registered, you can indicate that accordingly by clicking on it.
To create a new tax, enter the tax name, tax percentage, and registration number. You will also find a toggle called “Is this tax included in the menu price?”. Turn this ON if the tax is already included in item prices, or OFF if the tax should be added on top of the price. Finally, select whether the tax should apply to all items and click “Save” to complete the tax setup.
The next step is completing your "Payment setup". Click on “Set up now” and proceed to the business registration section. Start by selecting the business type, then enter business details such as name, email, address, and registered business name. Ensure these details match the information provided during account creation.
After that, enter the payout details, including the bank account number and sort code. You will also see "Direct debit authorisation", which allows Grafterr to securely process payouts and settlements. Confirm the authorisation by clicking on "Accept and finish".
After acceptance, a review page will pop up so you can double-check your details. Once reviewed, click “Confirm”. Then, the identity verification page will appear. This process only takes a few minutes, and your Grafterr payments will be ready to use.
As you progress through each step, you will notice the onboarding progress percentage increasing, giving you a clear view of how much setup remains.
Finally, complete the "Services" and "Business Profile" setup. Begin by selecting the service types your business offers, such as Eat In, Takeaway, or others, using the toggle buttons. You can also choose a default service type or select “None” if you do not want a default. Click “Submit” once done.
Next, update your business profile by uploading your business logo and filling in all the missing profile details. Once done, click on "Submit" and that's it, your onboarding is completed.
The progress tracker will now reach 100%, indicating that you’ve completed all the onboarding steps. Click on “Let’s get grafting” to start experiencing the most powerful and seamless application built to support your business operations.
