In the Grafterr online ordering system, two primary service types are offered on both the website and mobile application - Collection and Delivery.
While collection works similarly to takeaway, the key difference is that customers can place an order in advance and choose a preferred pickup time instead of collecting the order immediately.
Delivery involves preparing the food and delivering it directly to the customer’s address.
Configuring these services correctly ensures customers know exactly what options are available and how long their orders may take.
Managing collection and delivery services (Web&Mob):
In order to manage collection and delivery service settings through the Grafterr Admin Panel, follow the steps below:
Login to your Grafterr Admin Panel through the Grafterr website. And once you are logged in, look at the menu on the left side of your screen. Scroll down to locate the “Channels” section and click on “Online (Web & Mobile apps)”. Here, you will find all settings related to your website, mobile application, and even QR Ordering.
Locate the first setting titled "Services" and click the "Edit" button. Here, you will see two service types - "Collection" and "Delivery" - along with options to set average time and disable the service for a particular platform.
Average service time, refers to the approximate time your business needs to prepare an order for either collection or delivery. Setting these times helps customers clearly understand how long they may need to wait before the food is ready-to-collect or ready-for-delivery.
Simply click the dropdown menu under each service type and choose the most suitable average collection/delivery time for your operations.
Additionally, you can control where each service is visible. For example, if you want to offer collection only on your website but both collection and delivery on your mobile app, you can toggle the visibility switches accordingly.
Once all the preferred options are selected, preparation times are updated, and platform toggles are set, click "Save" to apply the changes.
After saving, your updated service settings will immediately reflect on your website and mobile application - ensuring customers have accurate and up-to-date information every time they place an order.
