The customer details pop-up for takeaway is a pop-up notification screen that appears on the ordering screen, prompting customers to enter their name and phone number before proceeding with a takeaway order, ensuring smoother order handling and record keeping.
Enabling customer details pop-up for takeaway:
In order to enable and manage this option through the Admin Panel and Operator application, follow the below steps:
Log in to your Grafterr Admin Panel. Once logged in, scroll down and select “Advanced Settings”. Under advanced settings, click on “Default settings”.
Scroll down to find the “Customer details pop-up for takeaway” toggle.
If this toggle is enabled, the system will display the information request pop-up on the ordering screen while placing a takeaway order.
If it is disabled, no such pop-up will appear, and the operator can simply place an order. You can also skip the details even though the toggle is enabled.
Once the feature is enabled in the Admin Panel, you can see how it works in the Operator Application.
Log in to the Grafterr Operator Application, refresh and place a new “Takeaway order”.
As soon as you select the takeaway service type, the system will display a pop-up prompting the operator to enter the customer’s name and phone number.
Along with this, the pop-up also provides two additional consent options for the customer.
The first allows the customer to choose whether their details can be stored to enhance service, while the second asks for permission to use their contact details for marketing purposes.
Customers can select “Yes” or “No” for each of these options before proceeding.
Once these details are entered, simply click on “Submit”, and you can proceed with placing the order as usual.
