Item amount settings determine how the system displays item pricing when you increase the quantity of an item. You have two options to choose from - Unit Amount and Total Amount.
If Total Amount is selected, the item price is multiplied by the quantity and displayed accordingly. For example, if Item "A" costs £2 and you increase the quantity to 3, the displayed amount beside the item will be £6 (2 × 3).
If Unit Amount is selected, the item price displayed beside the item will remain the same, regardless of the quantity. So, in the same example, if Item "A" costs £2 and you increase the quantity to 3, the amount displayed beside the item will still show £2 (the unit price). However, the order total at the bottom will correctly update to £6.
These settings are especially useful depending on whether businesses prefer to show customers the unit price per item or the total cost of selected items directly in the order view.
Managing item amount settings (Unit amount)

Once you have made the changes in the Admin Panel, log in to the Grafterr Operator application and refresh it. Place a new order and increase the quantity of an item to check how the amount is being displayed.
