Normally, when an operator places an order in the Grafterr Operator application, the order immediately disappears from the main ordering screen and moves into the orders tab. While this helps to keep the main screen clean for the next customer, it can sometimes make it harder for staff to keep track of the active order, especially when the customer hasn’t paid yet or might request changes.
The stay on same order functionality allows the order to remain visible on the main screen even after it has been placed. The order will only disappear once the payment is completed or when a new order is started. This way, the operator always has the current order in front of them, making it easier to manage.
Managing order settings (stay on same order):
In order to enable the option in the Grafterr Operator application, follow the below steps:
Log in to the Grafterr Operator application. From the main screen, navigate to “Extras” at the bottom left. Scroll down and select “Settings”. Scroll down to find the option “Order Settings”.
By default, the option will be set to “Off". Whenever an order is placed, once you click on “Order”, it will disappear from the main screen.
Set the option to “On”. Now let’s place an order and observe the change. The order now stays on the main screen even though we have clicked on “Order”. It shows that the items were ordered.
You can either complete the order by clicking on “Pay” or even move forward with a new order. If you decide to begin a new order, the current one can be accessed anytime from the “Orders” tab at the top right.
