Automated multi-table reservations help you accommodate larger groups by combining multiple tables when a single table is not sufficient.
For example, if your restaurant typically has tables with 2 seats each and a group of 6 makes a reservation, the system can automatically assign a combination of 3 tables to fulfill the request, based on the combinations set.
Creating and managing automated multi-table combinations:
In order to create and manage online automated multi-table reservations in Grafterr POS, follow the steps below:
Open the Grafterr POS application and log in with your credentials. Once you are logged in, you will land on the home page of the application. From here, scroll down to "Quick actions" and click on "Back office".
Inside the back office, scroll down to the “Table management” module and click on “Reservation settings.” Within this section, scroll further to locate “Online table reservation settings,” where you will find the option for “Online automated multi-table reservations.”
Select this module to begin creating table combinations. Start by choosing the serving area (such as Garden, Lounge, etc.) where you want to create these combinations.
Once the serving area is selected, the maximum guest count will be displayed. As you begin selecting tables to combine, you will notice that the total guest capacity increases accordingly. This helps you understand how many guests can be accommodated with the selected combination.
Carefully select the tables that you want to group together and create the combination. These combinations act as predefined setups that the system can use during online reservations.
Once configured, whenever a customer makes an online reservation for a group size larger than the capacity of a single table, the system will automatically assign the appropriate table combination based on the configurations you have created.
That’s it! You have successfully learned how to create and manage automated table combinations for online reservations in Grafterr POS. If you face any issues along the way, feel free to reach out to our support team.
