A physical loyalty program involves customers using a physical card during in-store visits to collect and redeem rewards, while a digital loyalty program provides customers with a unique membership profile or number, allowing them to earn and redeem points seamlessly across POS, website, and mobile app orders.
Setting up and managing your digital loyalty program:
In order to set up and manage your digital loyalty program through the Grafterr Admin Panel, follow the steps below:
Start by logging in to your Grafterr Admin Panel through the Grafterr website using your credentials. Once logged in, look at the navigation menu on the left side of the screen.
Once logged in, navigate to the left-hand menu and scroll down to the “Customer Experience” module. Under this section, click on “Loyalty management,” where you will find options for both physical and digital loyalty programs.
At the bottom of the screen, click on “Set up loyalty program.” You can choose to configure either or both types of loyalty programs, but for this guide, proceed with the digital loyalty option by clicking on “Setup.”
If you already have a physical loyalty program and want to replicate the same configuration, you can enable the provided toggle; otherwise, continue with a fresh setup.
On the setup page, begin by entering the loyalty program name and selecting the release date. You can either launch the program immediately or schedule it for a future date.
Next, define how customers will earn points by specifying how many points are awarded for each unit of currency spent.
Then configure the value of each point and how much reward the customer earns based on accumulated points. These settings determine how attractive and beneficial your loyalty program will be for your customers.
After this, move on to redemption settings by specifying the minimum multiple in which points can be redeemed. For example, you may allow redemption only in multiples of a certain number of points like 50, 100 etc.
You should also set a points expiration period, which defines how long unused points remain valid before they automatically expire. This helps maintain control over long-term liabilities and encourages customers to redeem their rewards within a specific timeframe.
If you want to enhance your loyalty program further, you can use the "Advanced settings" option.
Here, you can reward customers with additional points when they spend above a certain amount by defining a minimum spend threshold and assigning bonus points.
You can also incentivize specific items or meals by assigning extra points to selected products, encouraging customers to purchase high-margin or promotional items.
Once these advanced configurations are completed, click on “Apply settings.” After filling in all the required details, click on “Save” to activate your digital loyalty program.
Once the program is live, customers who register through POS, website, or mobile etc will automatically be enrolled, and their activity will be tracked. As they place orders, they will earn points based on your configured rules and can redeem them as per the redemption settings.
You can monitor and manage your loyalty program through the loyalty dashboard available in the same section.
This dashboard provides insights such as the
Total number of registered customers
Total points collected, and
Total points redeemed
It also displays detailed customer-level data, including names, email addresses, and automatically generated membership numbers.
From here, you can manage customer statuses by marking them as active or inactive, delete users if required, and apply filters based on status or date to analyze data effectively.
